# Bandshee

Bandshee is a stoner, doom and alt rock machine from Louisville, Kentucky. The band started out playing folk rock until guitarist Stephen K. Phillips introduced vocalist Romana Bereneth to Black Sabbath, and the sound turned heavy for good. Their songs draw on Chris Cornell's songwriting and a shared passion for Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Pentagram and Witchcraft, with a bassist who loves Tool. Bandshee is Romana Bereneth on vocals and guitar, Stephen K. Phillips on guitar, Mac the Bass on bass and Chris Miller on drums. They tour from Atlanta to Philadelphia to Milwaukee. After the EPs Curse of the Bandshee (2022) and Bandshee III (2023), their full-length album The Long Road debuted at number ten on the Doom Charts in January 2025.
